Alec and Cameron will be departing on their own for All State Jazz Band registration which starts at 8:0oam in the Broadmoor South.
Kris, Tyvon, Josh, Trevor and Tim will depart Tim’s house at 7am.
Everyone needs to wear their blue/slacks outfit. Please arrive at the Main Broadmoor lobby by 9am (except for Cameron & Alec who will be at All State). We’ll check our equipment/luggage with the bellhop, and then have breakfast at the Terrace Dining room (upstairs).
At 10:30am we’ll prepare for our sound check in the Main Ballroom. Alec and Cameron will meet us at 11am for our sound check.
Our concert goes from 11:45am until 12:30pm, followed by a photo session until 12:50pm, or so. We’ll then load the drum set and return all equipment to the bellhop. We will attend Alec’s Wind Symphony Concert until 2:30pm, followed by our celebration lunch at the Golf Club.
On Friday, everyone except Alec & Cameron will depart in the Kloewer’s vehicle at 3pm. You should be home by about 5pm.
All meals throughout our 2 day stay are covered, but please plan on bringing some money for incidentals and snacks. Remember that you must be in business casual dress at all times throughout the convention times.
The set orders and reference recordings can be found on the Downloads page. Please be sure all tunes are prepared and memorized completely for our performance at CMEA!
I’ve uploaded the set list for the Mile High Jazz Festival at Ralston Valley HS on Wed, 1/30. Please prepare and memorize those 3 tunes before Sunday’s rehearsal.
Please also be working on: Sing Sing Sing, Come Fly With Me, Muskrat Ramble, West End Blues, Minnie the Mooche, My Walkin’ Stick, Water from an Ancient Well, and Sheik of Araby for Sunday.

Please work really hard and be ready for Thursday’s performance!

Please remember to bring your listening CD’s on Sunday.
