See you by 9:30am at Evergreen Christian Church (27772 Iris Dr) for the 10am to 1:30pm Evergreen Jazz Festival Workshop (No Trevor; Matt will attend). Casual dress. Please bring the clinic materials and pencils. Half priced parent festival badges must be purchased by 10am. Prices can be found on the Evergreen Jazz Festival website, in the education section.
Please be sure and eat breakfast before you arrive. A free pizza lunch will be served at 1pm. Please bring your overnight clothes and toiletries, along with dinner money.

Ms. Sparks will provide breakfast before you leave for the workshop. Please wear your maroon/shorts outfit. Please bring the clinic materials and pencils. A free pizza lunch will be served at noon. Please bring dinner money, as we’ll eat at the festival. After the workshop, we will attend the Evergreen Jazz Festival. At 7:45pm, we’ll prepare for our 8:30-9:30pm performance in the Evergreen Christian Church (27772 Iris Dr). We will dismiss there at 9:30pm.
On Saturday, please arrive at the Evergreen Lake House (29614 Upper Bear Creek Rd) by noon. Ms. Sparks will provide breakfast before you leave for the performance. Please wear your blue/shorts outfit. The workshop performance runs from 1 until 2pm. We will dismiss there at 2pm, but your festival badge is good throughout Saturday and Sunday’s professional band performances.
On Sunday, our weekly rehearsal is scheduled for 6:30 until 9pm. We will prepare for the Evergreen Lake Concert at Sunday’s rehearsal. We will definitely have our rehearsal is we have 1 or more drum auditions. If we have no auditions, there’s a possibility that we’ll cancel Sunday’s rehearsal. A decision won’t be made until Saturday.
Please remember that we are still trying to find a drummer for the new band. We are now extending invitations to advanced 8th grade drummers who would like to audition. Please help with inviting any 8th graders who you feel would be a good match for our band.

Ms. Sparks is planning a Celebration Farewell Dinner (30395 Roan Dr, Evergreen) for all musicians and their families after the July 31st performance. Everyone is invited to this dinner. This will be the last time Tyvon and Alec will be with the band, so let’s make it very special! Can you please RSVP Ms. Sparks at: staceysparks@gmail.com. Please let her know how many in your family will attend the July 31st dinner.
