PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR OUR PERFORMANCE AND REHEARSAL ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 15TH: Please arrive at the Westerbergs Home (310 Shadycroft Drive, Littleton) by 2:00pm. Please wear your blue band shirt, khaki slacks, dress shoes and socks. Set sheets, lyrics and recordings can be found on the Downloads page. Driving directions can be found on the Event Calendar page. We will perform around 3:00 and 4:00pm (2 short sets). There will be a Potluck Dinner and Barbecue. Please bring a salad, appetizer, snack or dessert. DJC furnishes brats, burgers, hot dogs and drinks. Please also bring lawn chairs. Please prepare and memorize the following selections for Sunday’s performance: Bourbon Street Parade, Maple Leaf Rag, Dead Man Blues, and That’s a Plenty.
At 5pm we’ll car pool to rehearsal. Please prepare the following for Sunday’s rehearsal: Bill’s Improv. Book – pp. 6-9, All selections on the revised 8/10/10 set sheet (especially Black Bottom Stomp), Sugar Foot Stomp, Tin Roof Blues, Wolverine Blues, Ory’s Creole Trombone, Ballin’ the Jack, Clarinet Marmalade, Copenhagen, Alabama Jubilee, Hello Dolly, Livery Stable Blues, and Oh! You Beautiful Doll.
