Next Performance and Rehearsal – Sunday, February 19th (1:00-8:45 pm)

PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR OUR SPECIAL PERFORMANCE AND REHEARSAL ON SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 19TH: Please arrive at Westminster Elks Lodge (3850 Elk Drive) by 1:00 pm. Driving directions can be found on the Event Calendar page. Please wear your maroon band shirt, khaki slacks, dress shoes and socks. We perform from 2:00 until 2:45 pm. Parents, friends and relatives are very welcome to attend. Please remember to bring your ticket money and/or unused tickets on Sunday. Tickets cost $8.00 for Sunday’s concert.

A drum set and piano will be provided for the performance.

Please be sure all selections are prepared and memorized for our Denver Jazz Club performance set on Sunday (After You’ve Gone, Creole Love Call, and It Don’t Mean a Thing). The set order sheet and reference recordings can be found on the Downloads page.

Please bring dinner money as we will stop for dinner on our way to Sunday evening’s rehearsal.

Please remember to bring your listening CD’s on Sunday.

We’ll continue working on the half step exercises on pg. 9. Please also prepare pg. 20.

Please also prepare the following for our rehearsal on Sunday: Bye Bye Blackbird, When I Leave the World Behind, New Orleans Stomp (lift the solos), Blue Prelude, Black Bottom Stomp, Just a Gigolo/I Ain’t Got Nobody, and Indiana.

Please work really hard and be ready for Sunday’s special performance with Eddie Erickson.
