The $500 trip payment #2 was due by October 31st, so please bring it on Sunday, if you haven’t paid already (or as much of it as you can). Any family members joining us need to turn in their 2nd $450 trip payment as well.
Please be prepared to play the circle of keys, including dominant seventh plus nines (pg. 8) & pg. 9. We will also start pg. 14.
The rest of the transcription solos are all due – Spencer (Finish St. James), Ben (Big Butter and Egg Man), Mika (After You’ve Gone written solo), Tom E (Finger Breaker), Andrew (St. James Infirmary), and Tom M (I’ve Found a New Baby).
Please continue preparing Cornet Chop Suey, New Orleans Stomp, and Ory’s Creole Trombone for Sunday. We will also rehearse: Midnight, Happy Feet Blues, Mardi Gras in New Orleans, Oriental Strut, and Over the Rainbow. We will start working on: Exactly Like You, Lazy River, Everybody Loves My Baby, Cantina Band, Yakity Sax, Alabama Jubilee, Willow Weep for Me, Lu Lu’s Back in Town, Wrap Your Trouble in Dreams, Sweet Georgia Brown, St. Louis Blues, Potato Head Blues, Bye Bye Blackbird, and Is it True What They Say About Dixie?
