PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR OUR NEXT REHEARSAL ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 9TH: The photo session will be at the old Elitch’s Carousel (SW corner of  W. 38th Ave and Tennyson St – just 3 blocks South of Flesher-Hinton Music Store) .  We’ll wear our blue shirts and new khaki slacks. Go ahead and park at the music store and walk up to the photo site. Please plan on arriving by 5:15 pm, and then we will walk to rehearsal.

Please remember to bring your listening CD’s to Sunday’s rehearsal.

Please complete your transcription solo project. Everyone needs to perform their solo for us.

We are in the process of updating our website, so please submit a paragraph of bio. info that I can post on the website about you. Please check out the postings that are already up there to give you some ideas on how to write your paragraph. Please email those to me as soon as possible. I’ve only received bios from Rico, Ben and Cameron so far!

Practice your pentatonics around the circle of fourths. Also, your major triads plus six around the circle of fourths, on page 6. We’ll continue working on the half step exercises on pg. 9 as well. Please also prepare pg. 14.

We will choose and rehearse all selections for the October 11th Metro State College Radio Show Day Performance and the October 16th Denver Jazz Club Monthly Session. Plan on performing all the selections we performed at the Boulder Friends of Jazz last Sunday. Please prepare all of the tunes and be sure they are completely memorized by Sunday. The set order sheets can be found on the Downloads page.

Please work really hard, enjoy your private lessons, and be ready for our October 9th rehearsal.
