See you on Saturday, 9/7, at 7:45am, at Sgt. Peppers Photography Studio (5827 S. Gallup St, Littleton). Please wear your Maroon band shirt/Khaki band slacks/Black dress belt/Black dress shoes/Long dress socks. Please bring your instrument, keyboard, and drum/cymbals/drum sticks. We will finish there by about 9am.We’ll then see you on Sunday, September 8th by 6:30pm for our weekly rehearsal. We’ll dismiss at 9pm, as usual.
At Sunday’s rehearsal, we will select and rehearse the 3 tunes that we’ll perform at the 9/15 DJC Session. We’ll also start selecting the 6 tunes for the 9/22 Bull & Bush performance and the 9/29 Summit Jazz Festival.
We’ll also rehearse our new selections: When It’s Sleepy Time Down South (Vocal), The Mooche, At the Jazz Band Ball, Black Bottom Stomp, and Amazing Grace (Lead sheet and audio now uploaded).
