Tim, your tuba lesson will be from 5:30 until 6:15 pm. Please bring a $40 check payable to Bill Clark.
Everyone, Professor Bill Clark will be working with us throughout the rehearsal, so please be very prepared. This will be our last rehearsal before September 18th.
Please remember to bring your listening CD’s to Sunday’s rehearsal.
Please get started on your transcription solo project.
Practice your major scales to the 9th’s plus arpeggios around the circle of fourths. Also, your major triads plus six around the circle of fourths, on page 6.
We will rehearse: St. Thomas/Caravan (Lift Your Fathers Mustache arrangement), Canal Street Blues, Avalon (Lift the Casey Jones arrangement). Cornet Chop Suey (Tim’s tuba feature), Them There Eyes, Don’t Blame Me (Lift Banu Gibson’s arrangement), and Blue Skies (Lift the Cornet Chop Suey arrangement).
Please work really hard and be ready for Sunday’s tuba lesson, rehearsal and clinic.
