As was mentioned at the December parent/student meeting, we are estimating the Montreux, Switzerland trip to cost $4000 per person. Since the Sacramento airfare has already been paid, I was able to reduce the Feb. 1oth payment down to $1500. I’ll send you an email with your new trip balance amount which can be applied to the Feb. 10th payment. These dates correspond to the times each monthly dues need to be paid as well. The amounts listed do not include the $120 monthly dues. The amount in parenthesis is for the parent trip to Montreux, so there is no Sacramento cost added.
Feb. 10 – $1500 ($1500)
March 10 – $680 ($625)
April 14 – $680 ($625)
May 12 – $680 ($625)
June 9 – $680 ($625)
BE SURE YOU HAVE A PASSPORT FOR THIS JULY TRIP. APPLY FOR ONE NOW!!!!!
Please remember that our Bull & Bush Pub performance has been canceled for Sunday night, so we are now rehearsing at 10:15am. Please wear your maroon/slacks outfit. We will stop for a quick lunch on our way to the Westminster Elks Club, so please bring some food money.
We will plan on arriving at the Westminster Elks Club by 2:15pm. Our performance sets will be performed in between the sets by the Poudre River Irregulars at 2:50-3:10pm and 3:50-4:10pm. This will be a preview concert of our upcoming CMEA performance! We will dismiss at 5pm.
The set orders and reference recordings can be found on the Downloads page. Please be sure all tunes are prepared and memorized completely for our performances on January 20th and 24th.
Please also be working on: Sing Sing Sing, Come Fly With Me, Muskrat Ramble, West End Blues, Minnie the Mooche, My Walkin’ Stick, Water from an Ancient Well, and Sheik of Araby.

Please work really hard and be ready for Sunday’s rehearsal.

Please remember to bring your listening CD’s on Sunday.

Please be prepared to play pg. 26 in the improv book.
We also need to decide on the 3 tunes for the Mile High Jazz Festival.
CMEA/BROADMOOR TRIP INFORMATION:

Parents, you can use valet parking for $18 or self service for $8.00. Please arrive early – by 11:00am, or you may not be admitted in the ballroom.
