Great job over the weekend – you had some terrific performances! Sunday afternoon was a really great one at Evergreen – Congratulations!!
NEW BAND – ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 4TH, PLEASE WEAR YOUR BLUE BAND SHIRT, KHAKI BAND PANTS, DRESS SHOES AND SOCKS OUTFIT. WE WILL MEET AT 9AM AT SARGENT PEPPERS PHOTOGRAPHY STUDIO, 5827 S. GALLUP ST. IN LITTLETON). WE SHOULD BE DONE FOR THE DAY AROUND 11AM.

AN INVITATION HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO OUR 3 SENIORS TO BE MY GUESTS AT THE WESTMINSTER OUTBACK RESTAURANT AT NOON (OR WHATEVER TIME WORKS BEST) FOR A VERY NICE DINNER CELEBRATION! MATT, YOU CAN CAR POOL WITH ME, BUT DUE TO THE PHOTO SESSION, YOU WOULD HAVE TO HANG OUT WITH US FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS – YOUR CHOICE.

On Sunday, Tim’s tuba lesson will go from 5:45 until 6:30pm – please bring a $40 check payable to Bill Clark.

The rehearsal and Bill’s Clinic will go from 6:30 until 9:00pm.

Please remember to bring your listening CD’s on Sunday.

Please be prepared to play all your major scales around the circle of fourths. We’ll also do pg. 6 in the improv book – Major triads plus 6th’s around the circle. Please practice so you can do it all from memory.

We will rehearse for the August 11th and 12th  performance sets.

Please work really hard and be ready for Sunday’s rehearsal.

These are our available performance dates. Please let me know as soon as possible if you have a conflict with any of these dates:

August 2-3, 4 (Dallas, Matt & Alex – Last Day or the 11th?; Trevor’s 1st performance), 5, 6-11 (No Cameron; Possible last day for Alex, Dallas & Matt),  12-20, 21 (No Trevor), 22-31

-Wed, Thurs, Fri or Sat, 1/23-1/26/13 – 2 day stay at the Broadmoor Hotel, Colorado Springs (1 hour performance set at the Colorado Music Educators Association Clinic/Conference).
