PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR OUR PERFORMANCE ON SATURDAY, AUGUST 7TH: Please arrive at Flesher-Hinton Music Store by 1pm on Saturday, August 7th. Please wear your maroon band shirt (graduates wear your blue band shirt), khaki slacks, dress shoes and socks. We will rehearse from 1 until 1:30pm, set up from 1:30 until 2pm, and perform from 2 until 3pm. You can find our set lists and lyrics on the Downloads page. All friends and family members are invited – this is a free event! Everyone can enjoy free drinks and food as well!! Parking will be limited – our usual parking area will be where the performance tent will be located. The parking lot on the south end of the alley (about 1 block south of the store) on the west side will be available for Flesher-Hinton Music Store parking. This is our final performance together as an 11 piece band – make it an incredible performance everyone!!
The 3 graduates will be joining Ed for a complimentary celebration dinner, following the performance. We should be done by about 5pm.
REHEARSAL ON SUNDAY, AUGUST 8TH: Please arrive at Flesher-Hinton Music Store by 6:00pm. Please prepare as many of the 29 tunes currently on our set list as soon as possible. Please listen to the recordings which can be found on the Downloads page. Please practice Bill’s improv. book from the beginning, along with pg. 38, and be sure to work with his CD as well. Please bring your August dues to rehearsal as well.
