BE PREPARED TO PERFORM AT THE EVERGREEN JAZZ FESTIVAL ON SATURDAY, JULY 24TH: Please arrive at the Evergreen Elks Lodge Patio (27972 Iris Drive) by 9:15am on Saturday, July 24th. We will perform  from 10:15 until 10:45am, and attend until 6pm. We need to arrive by 9:15am on Saturday so we can rehearse and do a sound check before the performance. Be sure to wear your maroon band shirt, khaki slacks, dress shoes, and socks. Be sure to bring a sack lunch and dinner, or money for food. We will leave the festival at 5:00pm. Regular festival badge costs apply for all family members and friends.

Ed will pick Rebecca up at her grandparents’ house at 7:45am. He will then pick Alex D., Molly, and Alex B. up at Flesher-Hinton at 8:15am. We will then do a return car pool, dropping off Alex D., Molly, and Alex B., at Flesher-Hinton at approximately 5:30pm. Rebecca will be dropped off at her grandparents’ house at approximately 5:50pm. Kyle. Matt, and Ray will meet us in Evergreen.  Armando, Cara, and Daniel will car pool together.

We perform on Sun, 7/25 at 10:15 until 10:45am, and then again from 1:30 until 2:15pm. We will attend the festival until 5:00pm. Please plan on arriving by 9:15am on Sunday. Be sure to wear your blue band shirt, khaki slacks, dress shoes, and socks. Once again, be sure to bring a sack lunch & dinner, or money for food. Immediate family members can attend the Sunday 1:30pm Spotlight on Youth Performance at the Lake House for $5.00 each. Anyone who still needs to purchase family member tickets for Sunday’s performance, please bring a check – no cash, if possible. Otherwise, regular festival badge costs apply.

There is no Sunday, July 25th rehearsal.

Please prepare and memorize the following selections for our upcoming Evergreen Jazz Festival performances: Midnight in Moscow,  St. James Infirmary, Washington and Lee Swing, Maple Leaf Rag, Royal Garden Blues, The Mooche, Dead Man Blues, When the Saints Go Marching In, and That’s a Plenty.
