See you by 3:15pm on Sunday, 10/20 at Westminster Elks Lodge (3850 Elk Dr) for our 3:50-4:15pm performance in between sets of the Queen City Jazz Band. Please wear your maroon/dark khaki slacks outfit. Please bring dinner money, as we’ll stop for food on the way to our 6:30-9pm clinic/rehearsal with Todd Reid (drummer).

Please remember to bring your October dues, if you haven’t turned them in as of yet.

TRANSCRIPTION ASSIGNMENT: Everyone is required to transcribe a solo from our professional recordings. We’ll continue to listen to all transcriptions this Sunday. Adam is doing “The Mooche,” Jake C is transcribing “Saints,” Jake W is doing “Bourbon Street,” or something else, Andrew is transcribing “Bill Bailey,” Josh is doing “After You’ve Gone,” Trevor is transcribing “Washington and Lee Swing,” and Xavier is doing a tune which has not been confirmed as of yet. Copland completed and performed his transcription two weeks ago.

Please be sure pp. 8, 9, & 17 are prepared.

Please be sure our 3 performance tunes are prepared and memorized for Sunday: Bourbon Street Parade, Amazing Grace, and When the Saints.

Please also prepare these selections for Sunday: The Mooche, New Orleans Stomp, After You’ve Gone, Marchand De Poissons, and Black Bottom Stomp.
