Great job at Tuesday night’s gig – $140 in tips and cd sales!!

Kris and Tyvon will have their private reed lessons from 5:30 until 6:30pm on Sunday.

Everyone else please arrive at Flesher-Hinton by 6:30pm for our clinic/rehearsal with Lance Acker.

Please remember to bring your listening CD’s to rehearsal on Sunday.

Please be prepared to play all your major scales around the circle of fourths. We’ll also do pp. 6 – 9 in the improv book . Please practice so you can do it all from memory.

Please work really hard and be ready for Sunday’s lessons, clinic and rehearsal.

-Mon, September 3rd, Labor Day (10am-4pm) Avo’s Jazz Fest, Ft. Collins, Maroon/Slacks, includes commute and lunch time, 1-2pm performance (Maroon/Slacks) Each musician will get a free drink, meal, and festival badge for one guest. We will be paid a share of the take, so let’s pack the place with our fans!

-Sun, 9/16 – 3:15-8:45pm (Westminster Elks Club, 3850 Elk Drive) DJC September Session, includes dinner & rehearsal, Blue/Slacks.

-Sun, 9/23 – 3:00-9pm (Bergen Valley Elementary School, 1422 Sugarbush Dr in Evergreen, 3-5pm performance); Maroon/Slacks; Bring money for a quick dinner stop before our abbreviated rehearsal at Colton’s house, 6:30-8:30pm.

-Sunday, September 30 – 9:15am-9:00pm – Summit Jazz Festival (Red Lion Inn Denver Southeast 3200 South Parker Road, Aurora) Includes brunch, dinner & rehearsal, Blue/Slacks.

-Sunday, October 14 – No rehearsal

-Sunday, October 21 – 11:30am-2pm – Rehearsal

-Sunday, October 21 – 2-5pm – Car pool to Westminster Elks Club Performance (Bring food money); Performance at 3:45-4:15pm

-Monday, November 5 – Friday, November 23 – Fall Break

-Thurs, 1/24/13- Fri, 1/25/13 – 2 day stay at the Broadmoor Hotel, Colorado Springs (45 minute performance set at the Colorado Music Educators Association Clinic/Conference on Thursday, January 24th at 11:45am).
