We’ll see you by 3:15pm on Sunday, 2/16, at Westminster Elks Lodge (3850 Elk Dr), for our 3:50-4:15pm performance. Please wear your blue/slacks band outfit. Please also bring dinner money, as we’ll stop for dinner on the way to our 6:30-9pm rehearsal.

Please be sure to prepare and memorize Caravan, All of Me, and When the Saints, since we’ll be performing these selections at the Club on Sunday. Ben, we’ll hold off and have you perform with us on the 23rd, since you’ll be able to be at these next 2 rehearsals.

Please remember to bring your February dues on Sunday (except for Jake C & Trevor, who are already paid. The next $260 trip payment will be due on February 23rd, or via mail by March 1st.

Jake W & Ben – Please remember to bring your $50 for the cornet mouthpiece purchases on Sunday.

Andrew – Please remember to bring the $10 for the tuba valve button replacement on Sunday.

TRANSCRIPTION ASSIGNMENT: Thanks to Trevor and Copland for having your solos prepared so well on Sunday! This Sunday we’ll need to hear: “Bill Bailey” by Andrew; “Big Butter and Egg Man” by Jake W (for 2/23); “Royal Garden Blues” by Tom; Josh needs to pick one; “Saints” by Jake C; “The Mooche” by Adam; and Ben will pick one on Sunday.

Please be sure pg. 9 & 20 in Bill’s Improv Book are prepared better for Sunday’s rehearsal.

Just a reminder, if you are a member of any additional outside music group(s), please make our calendar of rehearsal and performance dates a priority. I try to give you as much notice as possible, so unless you let me know of a conflict (far enough in advance), we expect you to perform or rehearse with our band. Also, please remember that work is never a reason to miss our rehearsals or performances.
