CONGRATULATIONS FOR AN OUTSTANDING NEW ORLEANS PERFORMANCE TOUR – YOU WERE TERRIFIC!!!!!

CONGRATULATIONS FOR BEING SELECTED TO PERFORM AT THE COLORADO MUSIC EDUCATORS ASSOCIATION CLINIC/CONFERENCE IN JANUARY AT THE BROADMOOR HOTEL!!!!!!!!!!!!! THIS IS AN INCREDIBLE HONOR FOR US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ENTIRE BAND – ON SUNDAY, JUNE 17TH, PLEASE WEAR YOUR BLUE BAND SHIRT, KHAKI BAND PANTS, DRESS SHOES AND SOCKS OUTFIT. WE WILL MEET AT WESTMINSTER ELKS CLUB (3850 Elk Drive) BY 3:15PM. THE SET LIST FOR THIS DJC SESSION HAS NOW BEEN UPLOADED. WE PERFORM FROM 4:00 UNTIL 4:20PM. DRUM SET, CYMBALS AND PIANO WILL BE PROVIDED. ALEC & MASON WILL NOT BE AT THIS PERFORMANCE. PARENTS, FAMILY MEMBERS, AND FRIENDS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND!! NON-SACRAMENTO MUSICIANS, WE WILL DISMISS RIGHT AFTER OUR PERFORMANCE.

Please remember to bring your June dues on Sunday (Mason, you only owe $87.40, due to some trip account left over money; Ben, you only owe $25, since June 24th is your last day in the band).

We will have 1 saxophone audition, so please be prepared to play “Wolverine Blues” a couple of times.

We are still looking for a piano player, in addition to a reed player. Please let me know if you have any recommendations.

Please work really hard and be ready for Sunday’s performance.

SACRAMENTO BAND – WE WILL CAR POOL FROM THE WESTMINSTER ELKS LODGE TO A FAST FOOD DINNER PLACE, SO PLEASE BRING FOOD MONEY. YOU CAN BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHES AS WELL. THEN WE WILL TRANSFER TO HYPERTHREAT SOUND RECORDING STUDIO (10450 WHITE PINE DRIVE PARKER, CO 80134). THIS IS IN A RESIDENTIAL AREA. THEY WOULD LIKE US TO ARRIVE BY 6PM. MASON, JUST GET THERE AS SOON AS YOU CAN – BRING YOUR CYMBALS AND BASS PEDAL, SINCE WE’LL BE USING THEIR DRUM SET. A GRAND PIANO WILL BE PROVIDED FOR OUR USE. THE RECORDING SESSION SET LIST HAS NOW BEEN UPLOADED. WE SHOULD FINISH UP BY 11:00PM.

ENTIRE BAND – THE MONDAY, JUNE 18TH NATIONAL YMCA CONFERENCE PERFORMANCE WILL TAKE PLACE AT THE DOWNTOWN DENVER GRAND HYATT (1750 Welton St). PLEASE ARRIVE BY 5:00PM – WE’LL BE PERFORMING IN THE BALL ROOM. PLEASE WEAR YOUR MAROON BAND SHIRT, KHAKI BAND SLACKS, DRESS SHOES AND SOCKS OUTFIT. ALEX, PLEASE BRING YOUR KEYBOARD AND AMP; MASON PLEASE BRING YOUR DRUM SET AND CYMBALS. THE SET LIST HAS NOW BEEN UPLOADED. THE PERFORMANCE WILL GO FROM 6 UNTIL 7PM. APPETIZERS AND DRINKS WILL BE PROVIDED FOR THE BAND. WE WILL LOAD UP AND DISMISS AROUND 7:30PM.
