PLEASE BE PREPARED FOR OUR PERFORMANCE AND REHEARSAL ON SUNDAY, OCTOBER 10TH: Please arrive at Flesher Hinton Music Store by 4:00pm. Please wear your blue band shirt, khaki slacks, dress shoes and socks. Please practice Bill’s improv. book on pp. 9 and 16, and be sure to work with his CD as well. Also, please work on your ‘half step below dominant sevenths’ exercise.
Please make sure all 6 selections are completely memorized for Sunday’s performance: With a Wink and a Smile, Panama, That’s a Plenty, Wolverine Blues, When the Saints Go Marching In and Maple Leaf Rag.
Remember to have your newspaper article prepared for Sunday’s rehearsal. Please also be working on your transcription which will be due on November 14th.
We will car pool from Flesher-Hinton at approximately 6:00pm. Our 6:45-9:00pm performance with Your Father’s Mustache Band will be at the Bull and Bush Pub (4700 Cherry Creek South Dr). The set order sheet can be found on the Downloads page. Driving directions can be found on the Event Calendar page. Please tell your parents, relatives and friends that there is no cover charge, but tables are usually filled up by 6:00pm. Please remember to bring dinner money as we will eat in between sets.
