Adam, Jake W, Josh, Andrew (2nd half), & Xavier – Please remember to bring your October dues, since they were supposed to be turned in last Sunday.
TRANSCRIPTION ASSIGNMENT: Everyone is required to transcribe a solo from our professional recordings. We’ll listen to all transcriptions this Sunday. Adam is doing “The Mooche,” Jake C is transcribing “Saints,” Jake W is doing “Bourbon Street,” Andrew is transcribing “Bill Bailey,” Josh is doing “After You’ve Gone,” Trevor is transcribing “Washington and Lee Swing,” and Xavier is doing a tune which has not been confirmed as of yet. Copland completed and performed his transcription last week.
Please be sure pg. 6, pg. 8, pg. 9, & pg. 16 (top progression) are prepared.
Please prepare these selections for Sunday: The Mooche, Black Bottom Stomp, and Amazing Grace, in particular. Be sure that Amazing Grace is memorized, since we will perform this selection on October 20th.
