Congratulations on our best performance yet – at Monday’s Avo’s Jazz Fest!
JUST A REMINDER FOR TOMORROW AND FUTURE DATES NOW ADDED TO OUR CALENDAR –
On Sunday, please arrive at Flesher-Hinton by 6:30pm for our rehearsal.
Please remember to bring your listening CD’s to rehearsal on Sunday.
Please be prepared to play all your major scales and 6th’s around the circle of fourths. We’ll also do pp. 6 – 15 in the improv book . Please practice so you can do the scales from memory.
Please practice and prepare our newer tunes for Sunday- New Orleans Stomp, That’s a Plenty, and Ice Cream.
We’ll need to select our 3 tunes for the Club performance on the 16th, and make sure we have 22 songs ready for the 23rd performance in Evergreen.

Please work really hard and be ready for Sunday’s rehearsal.

Sunday, 11/11: Tuba Lesson w/Bill Clark (5:45-6:30pm, Tim only); and Full Band Rehearsal/Clinic w/Bill Clark (6:30-9pm)
Thursday, 2/14: Clinic w/DJC guest trombonist, Jim Fryer (5-7pm)
Sunday, 2/17: Concert at Westminster Elks Lodge w/Jim Fryer (2-2:45pm); That day will run from 1 until 9pm, including sound check,
performance, dinner and rehearsal.
Monday, 6/10: Performance w/Metropolitan Jazz Orchestra at Dazzle (930 Lincoln St, Denver) [7-7:45pm performance; 6-9:30pm total time –
includes sound check, performance, dinner and MJO’s performance]

quite a bit earlier than usual; Parents are free for our performance; Parents can also get a day festival badge for $10
each).
