See you by 6:30pm on Sunday, May 3rd, at Flesher-Hinton Music Store (3936 Tennyson St, Denver), for our 6:30 to 9pm rehearsal. This will be a special clinic with professional drummer Todd Reid.
Tom M will have his private drum lesson from 5:45 until 6:30pm. Please bring a $50 check payable to Todd Reid.

Vets – Please be prepared to turn copies of your music over to the new students on Sunday (if you haven’t done so already).
New students, please send me a list of any missing selections from our complete set list.
New students – the $10 yearly Denver Jazz Club dues need to be turned in on Sunday. Also, the dues for Sunday’s session are $35. Then, starting on May 10th, you’ll be on the monthly dues collection cycle ($140 per every 4 sessions). We always collect at the start of each monthly period. Please make the checks payable to the DJC Youth All-Stars. So, it’s your choice on Sunday – either bring $45 for the day, or you can bring $185, which will cover you for the next 5 sessions. Anyone needing financial assistance needs to send me a note, explaining the reasons, and how much you can afford each month (unless you’ve done so already).
Vets – We need you to bring in your completed, signed trip medical and expectations sheets on Sunday (except for Spencer and Ben, who have already turned them in).
On Sunday, we’ll play through our major scales and the New School Exercises #4-6 (New students will be introduced to these exercises).
We will also play pg. 36 – Please Don’t Talk About Me
We will also rehearse: The Mooche, New Orleans Stomp, along with the other 28 tunes we didn’t get to.
