REMINDER FOR SUNDAY –
We’ll see everyone by 2:15pm on Sunday, January 28th, for our early 2:30 to 5pm rehearsal at Denver Percussion. Please wear your maroon/slacks band outfit and bring dinner money, cymbals and bass amp. Please be sure all 7 tunes are prepared and memorized for Sunday’s Performance at the Bull and Bush Pub (4700 Cherry Creek S. Dr, Glendale). We’ll car pool around 5:15pm to the Pub and have dinner there, as usual. Parents, family and friends are encouraged to come to our performance.
Ellington will have Sunday’s listening.
Since the Sacramento Music Festival is no longer happening, seniors will be done making monthly trip payments after the April 29th payment is turned in.
The Sacramento Music Festival Trip is being replaced with the Sacramento Hot Jazz Jubilee Festival, from August 31st through September 3rd (Labor Day Weekend). This will be for the 2018-19 band.
We need to continue to have everyone perform the melodies to all our tunes from memory. Here are the ones that still need to be checked off:

Saturday, July 14 – Friday, July 20 is not going to work, due to the CBA Summer Convention happening during this time! I was given wrong dates for the 2018 Convention/Board & Membership meetings.
Will Saturday, July 7 – Friday, July 13 work for everyone instead? Please let me know as soon as possible.
NYC TRIP PAYMENTS – We are collecting 11 – $275 monthly trip payments due on the last day of each month, or soon thereafter. You can use your account to reduce the monthly trip payments. Before each monthly due date, I will send you an account update in case you want to use those funds to go towards that particular monthly payment.
