REVISED –
We’ll see everyone (No Luna, Joey & Caedon) on Sunday, July 16th, by 2:15pm, at Westminster Elks Lodge (3850 Elk Dr), for our 2:50-3:15 and 4-4:20pm performances in between the sets of the Crystal Swing Band. This will be our final Denver Jazz Club Session Performance, and also the final Denver Jazz Club Session Performance for any DJC Youth All-Star Band, so let’s make it very special! You will all receive your award Patches & Stars on Sunday. Please wear your maroon/pants band outfit, and bring dinner money, bass amp, brass mutes & stands, reed stand, and cymbals. Please be sure all 6 tunes are memorized for Sunday’s performance.
Parents are always admitted free to the Denver Jazz Club Sessions.
At 5:15pm we’ll car pool to a quick dinner on our way to our 6:15-9pm rehearsal (No Joey & Caedon) at Denver Percussion. Please bring all your music, a pencil, and improv book to every rehearsal. We’ll work on pg. 37 or 38 in our improv book.

We’ll need to continue working on the revised set list without Tenor Sax, for the rest of our July performances. The Evergreen Jazz Festival Workshop tune, Ice Cream, will need to be prepared, along with our hour long EJF Performance Set. We’ll also need to select and prepare our 2 joint professional band EJF sets, the 7/29 Mercury Set, Buffalo Bill Days (7/30), Holly Creek (7/30; No Caedon), & the Final 3 Hour Q’s Party Performance Sets.
Just a Reminder that the final $122 Monthly Dues are due on Sunday (Except for Joanna, Luna, Sebastian & Bennett, who are already paid).
